What is Tui Na?

Tui Na is a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) based on the same principles as Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and Qi Gong. It is a form of fully clothed deep tissue massage. The same meridians and points as used in acupuncture are pressed and massaged. The muscles, attachments, tendons and joints are also massaged and manipulated.

Tui Na is used in conjunction with other TCM therapies such as cupping and acupuncture. Herbal lotions and plasters are also sometimes used.

Who is this course aimed for?

This course is open to the general public and healthcare professionals. No prior knowledge of TCM is necessary.

The course will consist of basic hand techniques in the morning and a simple routine in the afternoon. In the evening you will get to practice your routine and afterwards there will be feedback given.

This course is a great opportunity to train with one of the top Tui Na practitioners in Europe. Places are extremely limited so book now to avoid disappointment.

Errol Dexter Lynch

Errol Dexter Lynch has practiced and studied Tui Na for over a decade under leading Professors and Doctors in China, including Professor Fan, Head of the Tui na Association Zhe Jiang Province and Professor Jiang Director of the City hospital Hang Zhou, China and Doctor Li Hang, Director of the Tui Na department, Zhe Jiang Hospital of TCM.

Errol has travelled back and forth to China for the last ten years, studying Tui Na and assisting foreign students in its tuition including students from Israel, Canada and the USA.
